Project 68 finished the season on the highest note possible winning the famed “Wally” NHRA trophy.
An invite-only, 16-car field that was selected based on Bandimere Speedway’s season points, the Top Performer race is an end-of-season race that pits the best of the best in the category together for a shot at the Wally.
After a strong pass in time trials, Project 68 took to competition and took out the other 15 racers to win the Wally. It was the second-win on the season for Project 68 and represented the final pass down the famed Bandimere Speedway before the speedway’s 65th year concluded, representing the final year at the Thunder Mountain location.
